Dissociation by acceleration
Abstract
We show that mesons, described using rotating relativistic strings in a holographic setup, undergo dissociation when their acceleration 'a' exceeds a value which scales with the angular momentum 'J' as amax ~ Ts/J, where 'Ts' is the string tension.
