Measurements of J/ decays into ω K K π and φ K K π

Abstract

The decays of J/ ω KKπ and J/ φ KKπ are studied using 5.8 × 107 J/ events collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPC). The K0SKπ and K+K-π0 systems, produced in J/ ω KKπ, have enhancements in the invariant mass distributions at around 1.44 GeV/c2. However, there is no evidence for mass enhancements in the KKπ system in J/ φ KKπ. The branching fractions of J/ ω K0SKπ, φ K0SKπ, ω K*K+c.c., and φ K*K+c.c. are obtained, and the J/ η K0SKπ branching fraction is measured for the first time.
