Investigating quantum numbers of new $c{\bar s}$ states

Abstract

I discuss possible identification of the recently discovered mesons $D_{sJ}(2860)$ and $D_{sJ}(2700)$. This paper is dedicated to the memory of my professor, colleague and friend Beppe Nardulli.
