Prospects for standard SUSY searches at the LHC

Abstract

We present the recent prospects and strategies of the ATLAS and CMS experiments in the search for signatures of Supersymmetry. The emphasis is placed on standard signatures with missing transverse energy and on the initial data taking periods.
