The Haar State on SUq(N)
Abstract
Using matrix corepresentations on SLq(N) and SUq(N) we derive a Haar state on SUq(N) which is nearly identical to that on SUq(2). This allows us to create an orthonormal basis for the vector space of coordinate functions on SUq(N).
