Study of D+ and Ds+ Decay Properties at Belle

Abstract

We report the first observation of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay, D+s K+K+π- and the significantly improved measurement of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay, D+ K+π+π- using 605 fb-1 of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The branching ratio with respect to its Cabibbo-favored counterpart are B(D+s K+K+π-)/B(D+s K+K-π+) = 0.2290.0280.012)% and B(D+ K+π+π-)/B(D+ K-π+π+) = (0.5690.0180.014)%, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second is systematic. We also report the improved measurement of D+ K0SK+ and D+s K0Sπ+ branching ratios using the same amount of data samples. The measured branching ratios with respect to the Cabibbo-favored modes are B(D+ K0SK+)/B(D+ K0Sπ+) = (0.18990.00110.0018) and B(D+s K0Sπ+)/B(D+s K0SK+) = (0.08030.00240.0012).
