Isomorphisms between quantum groups Uq(sln+1) and Up(sln+1)

Abstract

Let K be a field and suppose p, q∈ K* are not roots of unity. We prove that the two quantum groups Uq( sln+1) and Up(sln+1) are isomorphic as K-algebras implies that p= q 1 when n is even. This new result answers a classical question of Jimbo.
