A light charged Higgs boson in two-Higgs doublet model for CDF Wjj anomaly
Abstract
Motivated by recent anomalous CDF data on Wjj events, we study a possible explanation within the framework of the two-Higgs doublet model. We find that a charged Higgs boson of mass 140 GeV with appropriate couplings can account for the observed excess. In addition, we consider the flavor-changing neutral current effects induced at loop level by the charged Higgs boson on the B meson system to further constrain the model. Our study shows that the like-sign charge asymmetry Asb can be of O(10-3) in this scenario.
