Studies of jet production with CMS in pp collisions at s=7 TeV

Abstract

Preliminary results on a variety of jet analyses are presented using pp collision data collected by the CMS experiment at s=7 TeV. We report on measurements of the inclusive jet cross sections, the ratio of the inclusive three-jet over two-jet cross sections, the hadronic event shapes, the jet structure and the dijet azimuthal decorrelations. The data distributions are compared with the predictions of Monte Carlo event generators and with perturbative QCD calculations.
