C*-algebras associated with textile dynamical systems
Abstract
A C*-symbolic dynamical system ( A, , ) is a finite family \α\α ∈ of endomorphisms of a C*-algebra A with some conditions. It yields a C*-algebra O from an associated Hilbert C*-bimodule. In this paper, we will extend the notion of C*-symbolic dynamical system to C*-textile dynamical system ( A, , η, , η, ) which consists of two C*-symbolic dynamical systems ( A, , ) and ( A, η, η) with certain commutation relations between their endomorphisms \α\α ∈ and \ηa \a ∈ η. C*-textile dynamical systems yield two-dimensional subshifts and C*-algebras O,η. We will study the structure of the algebras O,η and present its K-theory formulae.
