Semistability of invariant bundles over $G/\Gamma$

Abstract

Let $G$ be a connected reductive affine algebraic group defined over $\mathbb C$, and let $\Gamma$ be a cocompact lattice in $G$. We prove that any invariant bundle on $G/\Gamma$ is semistable.
