Recent results from ALICE

Abstract

The ALICE experiment at the LHC has collected wealthy data in proton-proton and lead-lead collisions. An overview of recent ALICE results is given in this paper. Hadron spectra measured in pp collisions at s=0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV are discussed. Properties of hot nuclear matter produced in Pb-Pb collisions at sNN=2.76 TeV, revealed via many observables measured with the ALICE experiment, are shown.
