Mass spectra in N=1 SQCD with additional fields. I
Abstract
Considered is the N=1 SQCD-like theory with SU(Nc) colors and 0<NF<2Nc flavors of light quarks Qi, Qj and with the additional N2F colorless flavored fields Phiij with the large mass parameter μPhi>>Lambda. The mass spectra of this Phi-theory (and its dual variant, the dPhi-theory) are calculated at different values of μPhi/Lambda >>1 within the dynamical scenario which implies the (quasi)spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry. It is shown that, under appropriate conditions, the seemingly heavy and dynamically irrelevant fields Phi 'return back' and there appear two additional generations of light Phi-particles with small masses μ(Phi)<<Lambda. Also considered is the X-theory which is the N=2 SQCD with SU(Nc) colors and 0<NF<2Nc flavors of light quarks, broken down to N=1 by the large mass parameter of the adjoint scalar field X, μX>>Lambda2. The tight interrelations between these X and Phi-theories are described, in particular, the conditions under which they are equivalent.
