An alternative interpretation of Belle data on γ-γ -> η'-π+-π-

Abstract

Belle data on gamma-gamma -> eta'-pi-pi are refitted using a broad JPC=0(-+) signal peaking in the mass range 2250-2300 MeV, but without η (1760). There is the possibility that this broad 0(-+) signal may be identified with the 0(-+) glueball predicted originally by Morningstar and Peardon. The X(1835) is confirmed to have a resonant phase variation.
