Abstract

This paper shows how to solve analytically the three fundamental linear matrix inequalities AXB C \, ( C), \ \ AXA* B \, ( B), \ \ AX +(AX)* B \, ( B) in the Löwner partial ordering by using ranks, inertias and generalized inverses of matrices.
