Elliptic Dichroism in Angular Distributions in Free-Free Transitions in Hydrogen
Abstract
We discuss here the effect of the photon helicity in laser induced and inverse bremstrahlung for high energy scattering of electrons by hydrogen atoms. We demonstrate that it is possible to find EDAD for high scattering energies of the electrons if the \ dressing of the atomic target by the laser field is taken into account. We consider higher optical frequencies of the laser field and we restrict ourselves to the use of moderate field intensities.
