Compactness of the ∂-Neumann operator on the intersection of two domains

Abstract

Assume that 1 and 2 are two smooth bounded pseudoconvex domains in C2 that intersect (real) transversely, and that 1 2 is a domain (i.e. is connected). If the ∂-Neumann operators on 1 and on 2 are compact, then so is the ∂-Neumann operator on 1 2. The corresponding result holds for the ∂-Neumann operators on (0,n-1)-forms on domains in Cn.
