Unextendible maximally entangled bases in dxd

Abstract

We investigate the unextendible maximally entangled bases in Cdd and present a 30-number UMEB construction in C66. For higher dimensional case, we show that for a given N-number UMEB in Cdd, there is a N-number, N=(qd)2-(d2-N), UMEB in Cqdqd for any q∈N. As an example, for C12n12n systems, we show that there are at least two sets of UMEBs which are not equivalent.
