Infinitely many nonradial singular solutions of u+eu=0 in RN\0\, 4 N 10

Abstract

We construct countably infinitely many nonradial singular solutions of the problem \[ u+eu=0\ \ in\ \ RN\0\,\ \ 4 N 10 \] of the form \[ u(r,σ)=-2 r+ 2(N-2)+v(σ), \] where v(σ) depends only on σ∈ SN-1. To this end we construct countably infinitely many solutions of \[ SN-1v+2(N-2)(ev-1)=0,\ \ 4 N 10, \] using ODE techniques.
