Hofer growth of C1-generic Hamiltonian flows
Abstract
We prove that on certain closed symplectic manifolds a C1-generic cyclic subgroup of the universal cover of the group of Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms is undistorted with respect to the Hofer metric.
