Note on polynomial recurrence
Abstract
Let (X,μ,T1,...,Tl) be a measure-preserving system with those Ti are commuting. Suppose that the polynomials p1(t),...,pl(t)∈[t] with pj(0)=0 have distinct degrees. Then for any ε>0 and A⊂eq X with μ(A)>0, the set \n:\,μ(A T1-p1(n)A... Tl-pl(n)A)≥μ(A)l+1-ε\ has bounded gaps.
