Tests of Higgs boson compositeness through the HHH form factor

Abstract

We show how the q2-dependence of the triple Higgs boson HHH form factor can reveal the presence of various types of new physics contributions, like new particles coupled to the Higgs boson or Higgs boson constituents, without directly observing them. We compare the effect of such new contributions to the one of higher order SM corrections to the point-like HHH coupling, due to triangle, 4-leg and s.e. diagrams. We establish simple analytic expressions describing accurately at high energy these SM corrections, as well as the examples of new physics contributions.
