Tensor products and joint spectra for solvable Lie algebras of operators

Abstract

Given two complex Hilbert spaces, H1 and H2, and two complex solvable finite dimensional Lie algebras of operators, L1 and L2, such that Li acts on Hi (i= 1,2), the joint spectrum of the Lie algebra L1× L2, which acts on H1 H2, is expressed by the cartesian product of Sp(L1,H1) and Sp(L2,H2).
