Vaisman nilmanifolds

Abstract

We prove that if a compact nilmanifold $\Gamma\backslash G$ is endowed with a Vaisman structure, then $G$ is isomorphic to the Cartesian product of the Heisenberg group with $\mathbb{R}$.
