Power of Two as sums of Three Pell Numbers

Abstract

In this paper, we find all the solutions of the Diophantine equation P + Pm +Pn=2a, in nonnegative integer variables (n,m,, a) where Pk is the k-th term of the Pell sequence \Pn\n 0 given by P0=0, P1=1 and Pn+1=2Pn+ Pn-1 for all n≥ 1.
