Abstract

For any A > 2, we construct solutions to the two-dimensional incompressible Euler equations on the torus T2 whose vorticity gradient ∇ω grows exponentially in time: \|∇ω(t, ·)\|L∞ eAt, ∀\ t ≥ 0.
