The cosmological origins of nonlinear Electrodynamics
Abstract
We present a mechanism that allows to describe any nonlinear theory of Electrodynamics as a consequence of the coupling of the electromagnetic field to gravity in the presence of a vacuum represented by the cosmological constant. We emphasize gravity s exclusive role of catalysis.
