Search for like-sign dileptons plus two jets signal in the framework of the manifest left-right symmetric model
Abstract
The left-right symmetric model may present evidence of new physics at the era of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We use its framework to investigate the lepton number violating process pp e e jj+X at the [14]TeV LHC. We show that for an integrated luminosity of [300]fb-1, the discovery contour of the right-handed boson WR and the right-handed electron neutrino Ne as a result of the pp WR e N e e jj process can be expanded upon considering an additional channel mediated by the right-handed doubly charged Higgs δR, i.e. pp WR W*R δ*R e e jj.
