Non-liftable Calabi-Yau varieties in characteristic p ≥ 5
Abstract
Based on recent work of Totaro, we provide two simple constructions of non-liftable Calabi-Yau varieties in characteristic p ≥ 5. Our examples are of dimension 2p and 2p+1.
