On the gaps between consecutive primes

Abstract

Let pn denote the n-th prime. For any m≥ 1, there exist infinitely many n such that pn-pn-m≤ Cm for some large constant Cm>0, and pn+1-pn≥ cm n n n n, for some small constant cm>0. Furthermore, we also obtain a related result concerning the least primes in arithmetic progressions.
