Fragmentation-fraction ratio f_b/f_b in b- and c-baryon decays

Abstract

We study the ratio of fragmentation fractions, f_b/f_b, from the measurement of b0 c+π- and b0 c+π- with c+/c+ p K-π+. With the branching fraction B(c+ pK-π+)=(2.20.8)\% obtained under the U-spin symmetry, the fragmentation ratio is determined as f_b/f_b=0.0540.020. To reduce the above uncertainties, we suggest to measure the branching fractions of c+ p K*0 and c+ + K*0 at BESIII, Belle(II) and LHCb.
