The Finite Model Property of Quasi-transitive Modal Logic

Abstract

The finite model property of quasi-transitive modal logic K23=K p→ p is established. This modal logic is conservatively extended to the tense logic Kt23. We present a Gentzen sequent calculus G for Kt23. The sequent calculus G has the finite algebra property by a finite syntactic construction. It follows that Kt23 and K23 have the finite model property.
