Searches for Higgs boson pair production with ATLAS

Abstract

The search for Higgs boson pair (HH) production is at the core of the ATLAS experimental program, as it probes the Brout-Englert-Higgs mechanism, as well as new physics beyond the Standard Model. Based on the proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider in 2015 and 2016, three public results on the search for HH bbbb, HH bbγγ and HH WWγγ were recently released and are summarised in these proceedings.
