Superconducting properties of the noncentrosymmetric superconductor LaPtGe
Abstract
We report superconducting properties of noncentrosymmetric superconductor LaPtGe which crystallizes in noncentrosymmetric α -ThSi 2 structure. The magnetization, resistivity and specific heat measurements confirm that LaPtGe is a type-II bulk superconductor with a transition temperature T c = 3.05 0.05 K. Muon-spin relaxation/rotation measurements confirms that time reversal preserved in the superconducting ground state.
