Almost-Gelfand Property of Symmetric Pairs
Abstract
In this paper, we show almost-Gelfand property of connected symmetric pairs (G, H) over finite fields of large characteristics. We will show almost-σ-invariant property of double coset H/H where σ is the associated anti-involution, and ε-version of Gelfand's trick to make use of the fixed points of anti-involution.
