On the optimality of one integral inequality for closed curves in R4
Abstract
The optimality of the integral inequality ∫γk12+k22+k32ds>2π for closed curves with non-vanishing curvatures in R4 is discussed. We prove that an arbitrary closed curve of constant positive curvatures in R4 satisfies the inequality ∫γk12+k22+k32ds ≥ 25π.
