On the distribution of $\text{Cl}(K)[l^\infty]$ for degree $l$ cyclic fields

Abstract

Using a recent breakthrough of Alexander Smith, we prove that $l^\infty$-class groups of cyclic degree $l$ fields have the distribution conjectured by Gerth under GRH.
