Broad composite resonances and their signals at the LHC

Abstract

We explore the possibility that the left-handed third generation quark doublet qL is fully composite in composite Higgs models. The signature of the model is the presence of broad spin-1 resonances strongly interacting with the third generation quark doublet qL. In this case, The tt resonance search channel is comparable in sensitivity to the di-lepton channel. In addition, the same-sign di-lepton channel in the tt associate production can probe the large g parameter space and complementary to the Drell-Yan production channels.
