3 He(α, γ)7 Be and 3 H(α,γ)7 Li reaction rates and the implication for Big Bang nucleosynthesis in the potential model
Abstract
The reaction rates of the direct astrophysical capture processes 3 He(α, γ)7 Be and 3 H(α,γ)7 Li, as well as the abundance of the 7 Li element are estimated in the framework of a two-body potential model. The estimated 7 Li/H abundance ratio of 7 Li/H=(5.07 0.14 )× 10-10 is in a very good agreement with the recent measurement 7 Li/H=(5.0 0.3) × 10-10 of the LUNA collaboration.
