Generic cuspidal representations of U(2,1)

Abstract

Let F be any non-Archimedean local field with a Galois involution σ and F0 be the fixed field for the action of σ. When the residue characteristic of F0 is odd, using the explicit construction of cuspidal representations of classical groups by Stevens, we classify generic cuspidal representations of U(2,1)(F/F0).
