High-frequency size effect study of the Fermi surface of metals
Abstract
This paper reviews experimental and theoretical works on the study of the Fermi surface of pure metals with the aid of high-frequency size effects. Particular attention is given to little-known new ballistic effects such as the time of flight effect, multichannel size effect, and nonlinear size effect. Keywords: Fermi surface of metals, radio-frequency size effect, multichannel surface scattering, pure metals.
