The C-motivic wedge subalgebra

Abstract

We describe some regular behavior in the motivic wedge, which is a subalgebra of the cohomology ExtA(M2,M2) of the C-motivic Steenrod algebra. The key tool is to compare motivic computations to classical computations, to ExtA(2)(M2,M2), or to h1-localization of ExtA(M2,M2). We also give a conjecture on the behavior of the family e0tgk in ExtA(M2,M2) which raises naturally from the study of the motivic wedge.
