Diophantine approximation by Piatetski-Shapiro primes
Abstract
Let [\,·\,] be the floor function. In this paper we show that whenever η is real, the constants λi satisfy some necessary conditions, then for any fixed 1<c<38/37 there exist infinitely many prime triples p1,\, p2,\, p3 satisfying the inequality equation* |λ1p1 + λ2p2 + λ3p3+η|<( pj)37c-3826c( pj)10 equation* and such that pi=[nic], i=1,\,2,\,3.
