Complete experiments in pseudoscalar meson photoproduction

Abstract

The problem of extracting photoproduction amplitudes uniquely from so called complete experiments is discussed. This problem can be considered either for the extraction of full production amplitudes, or for the determination of multipoles. Both cases are treated briefly. Preliminary results for the fitting of multipoles, as well as the determination of their error, from recent polarization measurements in the -region are described in more detail.
