Abstract
We give a simple unified proof for all existing rational hypergeometric Ramanujan identities for 1/π, and give a complete survey (without proof) of several generalizations: rational hypergeometric identities for 1/πc, Taylor expansions, upside-down formulas, and supercongruences.
