The influence of δ meson on the isospin splitting of in-medium NN N cross sections

Abstract

The isospin splitting of the in-medium NN→ N cross sections in asymmetric nuclear medium are investigated in the framework of the one-boson exchange model by including δ and mesons. Our results show that the medium correction factors R=σ NN→ N*/σNN→ Nfree have Rpp n ++ < Rnn p - and RNN N + <RNN N 0 by using the without-δ sets. By including the δ meson, it appears the totally opposite results in the R for different channels, i.e., Rpp n ++ > Rnn p - and RNN N + >RNN N 0.
