On the reciprocal sum of lcm of k-tuples
Abstract
We prove that the reciprocal sum Sk(x) of the least common multiple of k≥ 3 positive integers in [1,x] satisfies Sk(x)=P2k-1( x)+O(x-θk+ε) where P is a polynomial of degree 2k-1 and θk=2k(k+1)k+12· 32k+6k-5. This was conjectured in Hilberdink, Luca, and T\'oth~[Remark 2.4]HLT. We also prove asymptotic formulas for similar sums conjectured there.
