Study of the Ds+ a0(980) and a0(980) ω decays
Abstract
We study Ds+0(+)a+(0)0, Ds+ω a+0, and the resonant Ds+ a0,a0 ηπ(KK) decays. In the final state interaction, where Ds+ (η()π+,K+ K0) are followed by the (η()π+,K+ K0) to 0(+)a+(0)0 rescatterings, we predict B(Ds+0(+)a+(0)0)=(3.0 0.3 1.0)× 10-3. Due to the cancellation of the rescattering effects and the suppressed short-distance W annihilation contribution, we expect that B(Ds+ω a+0) B(Ds+π+π0)<3.4× 10-4. In our calculation, B(Ds+0(a+0)ηπ+) =(1.6+0.2-0.3 0.6)× 10-3 agrees with the data, whereas B(Ds++(a00)K+K-) is 10 times smaller than the observation, which requires a careful examination.
