The exceptional set for integers of the form [(p1)c] + [(p2)c]
Abstract
Let 1 < c < 24/19. We show that the number of integers n N that cannot be written as [p1c] + [p2c] (p1, p2 primes) is O(N1-σ+). Here σ is a positive function of c (given explicitly) and is an arbitrary positive number.
