AIMpy: A Python code to solve Schr\"odinger-like equations with the asymptotic iteration method

Abstract

This paper is dedicated to present an open-source program so-called AIMpy built on Python language. AIMpy is a solver for Schr\"odinger-like differential equations using Asymptotic Iteration Method (AIM). To confirm the code works seamlessly, it has been shown through the paper with recalculation of some previously studied eigenvalue examples that the code can reproduce their results very well.
